The sales, many of which began the week before Thanksgiving, are slated to expire tomorrow at midnight.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;d love to keep the sales going,&#8221; said Best Buy manager Ferd Torgerson, &#8220;but tomorrow is Christmas Eve, and we feel that many customers will have finished their Christmas shopping by the 25th.&#8221; Best Buy has been running a &#8220;20 Days of Doorbusters&#8221; promotion for the past 37 days, but plans on ending their Black Friday deals tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The thing about Black Friday,&#8221; said a shift manager at Toys &#8220;R&#8221; Us, &#8220;is that it&#8217;s a day for everyone to come together and show their inexpensive love for one another, and we think it shouldn&#8217;t be limited to just one day. We think it should be limited to days when we think people might buy stuff.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>When asked if some of the imperative urgency of the day itself has been lost, now that many of the exclusive deals are available online and for an extended time, a representative from Amazon responded, &#8220;I&#8217;m glad you pointed out that many deals are available online.
