MONTPELIER – Vermont’s Lt. Governor David Zuckerman made an announcement this week that he has plans to reveal next week the release of another announcement. Sources confirm that this announcement will be to release a date for a press conference, at which Zuckerman will announce that he will shortly be announcing a run<\/a> for governor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I don’t want to give anything away,” Zuckerman said in the initial announcement, “or speak too soon, but I do think a potential press conference may be coming that would lead to another announcement. I can’t say at this time where all these announcements will lead, but eventually there is the potential for something official to happen.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zuckerman’s campaign, which is already shifting into high gear, says it is accepting donations, and would like Vermonters to view these announcements as a sort of “save the date card.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Oh, he’s going to be running,” said once source inside the campaign. “He just isn’t yet. He’s sort of doing warm-ups before the meet. But then, when he does start running, you’ll know it. We’ll let you know when we plan to announce when that is.”<\/p>\n
