WASHINGTON, D.C. – With every poll showing Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders as the clear front-runner in the 2020 presidential race, the congressman has decided to take himself out of the running ahead of time to avoid a long and tiring campaign. The news was broken by a tweet from Senator Sanders’ official account.
“Nate Silver called to say that I was PROBABLY going to become president in 2020, just like last year, but I would have to agree to a campaign and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway America!”
Sanders’ supporters are disappointed, but can’t fault his logic. He was definitely going to win, but is very bad at photo shoots.
