COLCHESTER – OneCare Vermont, the state’s premiere Accountable Care Organization (ACO) has unveiled a new website, and is begging internet users to stop trying to order Mexican food from them. The confusion began with the switch-over from the old site, located at oncecarevt.org, to the new address: www.vermontaco.com.
Within hours of the new site going live, IT employees began receiving requests for tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and other Mexican food items via the web portal, despite the clearly labeled pages directing customers to various Medicaid and Medicare providers. According to one employee, when she told a customer that they did not deliver tacos, the customer did not believe her.
“It was nuts,” she said. “No matter what I said, they insisted that I make them a taco and bring it to their house. How would I even do that?”
Administrators plan to leave the site as-is for now pending further study, but they ask the public to please stop asking for tacos. The tacos will not be arriving.
I too believe therefore, perfectly pent post!
