BURLINGTON – According to popular regional commerce site Craigslist, a resident of Burlington is selling their soul for $6,499. They claim in the listing that their soul is in excellent condition and has been well maintained. It is a fairly young soul, five years old, and the listing contains actual photographic evidence that the soul exists.
Some local pastors have expressed some interest in the soul, but church budgets are tight in Vermont, with not a lot of saving going on. Other Chittenden County residents are unsure the soul even exists, despite the photographic evidence. “People photoshop stuff all the time,” says Curt Thomas, who lives in the South End.
